Meet the Team

Peter has owned lanehouse for over 35 years and has built a great relationship with many local customers that just love our customer loyalty. He has built the company from a small house at Lanehouse Rocks road to now having three dealerships not only with Vauxhall but now Suzuki.

Graduating in Business and Finance Dominic embarked on a career in the Telecommunications industry. After various successful roles in the UK and abroad spanning 10 years, Dominic returned to the UK in 2006 to join the Lanehouse Group.

Dominic overseas all group operations and consults closely with the Management Team, implementing Group strategies and financial objectives.

Dominic has a committed and ambitious outlook for the Lanehouse Group with continued plans to develop the Group forward.

I have worked for Lanehouse Vauxhall since 1988, starting here shortly after we moved to these premises on the Granby Industrial Estate. I deal with new and used car sales, I am also a Motability specialist.
Prior to working here, I spent several years in the finance industry including six years working for Barclays Bank.
When I am not at work I enjoy motorcycling and caravanning, and travelling abroad where my hobby is scuba diving

I started work with Lanehouse in 1985 joining the company just prior to the building of our premises on the Granby Industrial Estate here in Weymouth.
Prior to that I gained a broad experience in the parts business working with the Wadham Stringer Group in Dorchester for 12 years, dealing with Leyland, Jaguar, Rover & Land Rover products.
During my time here, I with the help of the parts team have built up a good relationship throughout Dorset looking after the needs of both retail & trade customers supplying them with Genuine Vauxhall Parts.
Having recently been appointed with the Suzuki Franchise you can now benefit from the availability of Genuine Suzuki Parts.
We have two vans based here at Weymouth delivering Genuine Vauxhall & Suzuki parts to the trade throughout the county, they also supply the stock for our Bridport & Dorchester branches.
When I am not working I enjoy being involved with Dorset Search & Rescue [DORSAR] & my other hobbies include walking.& shooting.

Heath has worked for Lanehouse since 1996 starting at the Weymouth branch as a workshop technician, when Bridport was opened in 1997 Heath was promoted to Branch Manager and has been in that role ever since. Prior to working for Lanehouse Heath served his apprenticeship at a Vauxhall dealer in Honiton and also worked at a Vauxhall retailer in Bristol for 6 years before moving back to Dorset. Since moving back he has also worked for two Ford retailers in Chard and Exeter.

Kerry is our Bridport service advisor who has been with Lanehouse for nearly 5 years, polite and great with customers she strives to push the business forward.

Previous to working at Lanehouse Kerry worked as a Service Advisor within a local Mitsubishi dealership for 3 years.

Kerry has a Motability Aftersales accreditation.

Dave has been with the company for 10 years, starting as a mechanic and now one of our service advisors.

Lionel has been the Parts Advisor at Bridport for nearly four years. Prior to him joining Lanehouse he was Parts Advisor with another Vauxhall Dealership in the Yeovil area, so he has extended Vauxhall parts knowledge.

Before joining the Vauxhall brand Lionel was Purchasing Manager at Wincanton Engineering for 13 yrs, he was responsible for all Purchasing which included Milk Road Tanker Chassis, and all ancillary equipment to build & manufacture them to finished product.

David has worked at lanehouse for 14 years starting as a technician, then workshop controller.
He has been at the Dorchester branch for 15 month's where
he is service advisor, parts and workshop controller.
As well as this he is also motability credited and and has achieved gold rating from Vauxhall as a service advisor.
When not at Lanehouse David enjoys sport and supports Manchester City football club.

Stuart has been with the Lanehouse Group for nearly 9 years, and is lucky enough to of worked at all 3 branches, making him a familiar face within Lanehouse. Before working with Lanehouse he worked with Mitsubishi and Suzuki at Vincent’s in Yeovil for a year and a half.
Stuart in January 2010 moved to our Dorchester branch, where we are pushing Suzuki sales as well as Vauxhall. Stuart can’t get enough of cars and when not working with them he races an Autograss mini at weekend’s at venues all across the United Kingdom.
